Member Policies & Procedures

Dress Code:

We would prefer members and guests dress in proper golf attire. Members are responsible for their guests in conforming to the dress code.
Preferred: casual / golf pants or shorts, golf shirt, mock t-shirts
Allowed: jeans, t-shirts, athletic clothing
Not Allowed: muscle shirts, tank tops, tube tops, short shorts, cut offs, slogans and / or pictures with profanity or of a discriminating nature

Memberships:

New members to Land-O-Lakes GCC will be charged a $500.00 initiation club fee, unless otherwise promoted or listed. This initiation fee is both salable and transferable when a member is with the club for no less than three years and in good standing with Land-O-Lakes GCC. It is the members responsibility to either sell or transfer the initiation themselves, documented with the proper paper work and approved by management. There is a $100.00 administration fee to transfer or sell an initiation. If a member wishes to take a leave of absence ( 1 year only ), a $100.00 leave of absence charge will be applied or they may purchase Flex Passes to off set this fee.

Tee Time Bookings:

members may book 7 days in advance - Friday, you may book for the upcoming Friday
on Friday after 5pm, members may book for the following Saturday, Sunday and also Monday, should it be a holiday
cancellation of tee times must be made no later than 1 hour prior. Failure to do this may result in loss of booking privileges. Please respect your fellow members and guests.
if booking for 1 to 3 people, you may be joined with other players to get the fullest use of our course. By filling as many tee times as possible we can reduce or eliminate the need for rate increases while at the same time maintain and improve the efficiency of our golf course.

Some people try to abuse the advanced booking policy by booking for 4 and showing up with 1 or 2 players. By doing this you are stealing tee times that may have been used by other members or sold to green fee players. Offenders will be warned once and if they persist in abusing the system, their advanced booking privileges will be suspended.

Junior Tee Time Restrictions:

May play at anytime Monday through Thursday
May play after 10am, with an adult, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Holidays or if they wish to play prior to 10am, they MUST pay an Adult green fee rate
May play anytime after 1pm Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Holidays

Golf Course:

Land-O-Lakes GCC strives to have a proud, respectful and positive membership. To accomplish this, the following rules must be enforced:

3 R’s - repair divots, rake sand traps, repair ball marks on the greens
pick up stray garbage
soft spike facility only
players must check in at the pro shop before playing
must practice from mats unless ropes are out on grass area
Range will be closed 2 hours prior to dark for a clean pick on Tuesday nights
Range will be closed Wednesday mornings, until entire range is mowed by grounds crew
range balls are not allowed on the golf course for play; any person caught with range balls on the golf course will have playing privileges suspended and removed from the course.

Power Carts:

Private Owners

private owner policy form must be signed and left on file in the pro shop
must have identification on power cart that lists appropriate operators, maximum 2 operators per cart unless under a family membership
owners will be charged a trail fee for anyone other than the assigned operators using the private power carts
for insurance purposes, all operators must possess a valid drivers license

Rental Fleet

renters must have a valid drivers license
renters must sign rental form prior to round
renters who violate cart rules will lose their renting privileges and be responsible for any damages.
leases include one 18 hole round per day
leases are NOT valid for tournament play
only designated driver/s will be permitted to use the lease
leases are sold by the seat, not by the entire cart

Rules of use

carts are allowed on the golf course as determined by the Course Superintendent
carts are to stay on paths whenever possible, then use the 90 degree rule
only 2 people per cart
carts are to stay away from greens, tee boxes, ground under repair and roped off areas - obey the course signage

RED FLAG PROGRAM - people with physical limitations can use a red flag from the proshop at the discretion of the professional staff - red flag must be visible on the power cart - must still stay away from the greens and tee boxes ( 50 feet )

Speed of Play:

9 holes 2 hours
18 holes 4 hours

This is a general rule of speed to follow. Always remember to keep up to the group ahead of you and the rest will take care of itself. If required, ask the professional staff for speed of play tips.

Gift Certificates:

2 types - 1 is strictly for merchandise, the other is good for either merchandise or services
be sure to make note of expiry date, GC’s are not valid after expiry - no exceptions
GC’s can not be used against account balances

Proshop Discounts:

Standard members pro shop discounts are as follows:

15 % off on all clothing
10 % off on putters, bags, wedges, shoes, and all accessories

These discounts may change in the future.

Proshop Charge Accounts:

Charge accounts may be set up in the pro shop for monthly purchases. An Account Charge Form must be filled out and signed in the Pro Shop. Account balances will be automatically paid on the 15th of the following month. If account balances are not paid in full, playing privileges may be suspended.

Corporates:

Corporate Designates are classified as a full member and are exempt from using passes. Corporate guests must book tee times under their own name, with credit card and MUST have a corporate pass to be eligible for free golf.

corporates passes are not allowed to book together as a group unless authorized by the Head Professional.

Tournament Discounts:

Members are eligible for tournament entry discounts through Land-O-Lakes GCC tournaments. These discounts will vary from tournament to tournament.

Etiquette and Course Conduct:

Members and guests must conduct themselves accordingly to all rules and regulations of Land-O-Lakes Golf and Country Club while at the facility. Violations of rules and regulations will not be tolerated and disciplinary action will be enforced. Absolutely no off course liquor is permitted on the golf course. Alcohol, cooler bags are available through the clubhouse, as well as having an on course beverage cart.

Club Storage:

Members have the option of leaving their clubs at Land-O-Lakes GCC in club storage. Clubs will be cleaned, inspected and brought out for use for a small annual fee - currently $75.00.
